Shankari, this is about your previous post which was an appeal for bone marrow donors. My husband had participated in a drive for a young boy at the Lemont Temple in Chicagoland last year. They had registered him with The National Bone Marrow Registry. I am sure your friends know this but one thing to do would be to contact the Registry to find out if there are any Indians who could be a potential match. The Registry then gets in touch with the registered donors that match. At least this is what we were told at the Lemont Temple. I wish I remembered more details of the drive but unfortunately, I don’t.
