Frequently Asked Questions
How do I sign up for a cooking class?
Click the button above to register.
What should I wear?
We’ll provide you with an apron, but we suggest wearing comfortable casual attire that you don’t mind getting a little messy in. Please opt for flat, comfortable shoes; open-toed shoes or sandals are not permitted. Long hair should be pulled back.
Will you send a shopping list?
Recipes and Zoom information will be sent a week before classes. This gives you plenty of time to shop.
Do you offer private cooking classes?
Indeed, we provide both in-person and online private cooking sessions.
Please contact the chef if you have any allergies for substitutions.
When should I arrive for class?
We recommend arriving 5-10 minutes before class begins. Station selection operates on a first-come, first-serve basis, so arriving early ensures you can sit next to friends if desired.
What is the format of your classes?
Our classes are interactive and involve full participation. Students practice techniques demonstrated by our instructors and prepare menu items.
What are the age limits for your classes?
Adult classes are for ages 16 and up. Children aged 14 and 15 may attend an adult cooking class if accompanied by an adult. We suggest only one underage child per accompanying adult. Tuition for an underage child is the same as for an adult.
Will I get a copy of the recipes to take home?
Yes, you’ll receive a recipe packet to reference during the class and take home with you.
Do you offer special events such as team-building cooking classes or cooking parties?
Certainly! You can select the class style and menu that best suits your upcoming event. Whether you’re considering a unique team-building exercise for your employees, planning a birthday celebration, or seeking a stress-free way to host a dinner party, we can tailor a special event to your needs. Options include team-building, birthday parties, bridal showers, holiday parties, special occasions, supper clubs, luncheons, and fundraising events.
Do I have to register in advance or can I just show up?
Advanced registration is required for all classes.
How much does it cost to take your classes?
The price of each class is listed in the class description.
Do we get to eat the food in class?
Absolutely! You’ll receive a generous taste of each recipe prepared in class. Most tastes are served towards the end of the class, so feel free to have a snack prior to arrival if you’re concerned about getting hungry. Please note that leftovers are not provided to students to take home.
Do you provide private cooking classes in the comfort of one’s home?
Yes, we firmly believe in the importance of learning to cook in your own kitchen, utilizing the tools and stoves you are familiar with. We are happy to tailor a menu to suit your specific needs.
When do I need to make payment?
Payment in full is required at the time of registration.
What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept Zelle, Venmo & Paypal.
