Chef Shankari will give you an introduction to Indian spices and walk you through all the recipes in the class. They are fun and interactive as we cook, share stories and learn.
How do I sign up for a cooking class?
Send an email to [email protected] with the name and date of the class you are interested and make a payment via paypal/Venmo/Credit Card The price for each class is $18
Will you send a shopping list?
Recipes and Zoom information will be sent a week before classes. This gives you ample time to shop
Do you offer Private and Team Building Classes?
I offer virtual team building classes, private classes for families to celebrate Birthday, Virtual Family Reunions. This is customized based on needs and dietary restrictions
Please contact the chef if you have any allergies for substitutions.
January 10th, Masala Mac n Cheese 2 pm PST
Treat your family to an explosion of different flavors. If you like Mac n cheese, you will LOVE this kicked up dish.
January 17th, Malai Kofta & Methi Roti 2 pm PST
A very popular North Indian side dish, Potato and paneer dumplings cooked in a creamy sauce served with methi roti ( fenugreek leaves and spices).
January 24th, Indian Snacks 2pm PST
Chivda is a snack mix made with dehydrated flattened rice, nuts and spices roasted on the stove top. It is considered a healthier version because they are not deep fried. Spicy onion and pepper baked crackers is our 2nd snack and both pair well with a cup of ginger chai.
January 31st, Panch Mel Dal ( Five dal stew) 2 pm PST
A little bit of 5 dals cook together with spices, onions and tomatoes. You can serve them as soup or over rice or roti. We will also make a healthy dessert with dates and nuts.
